Late '50s Gibson, Vintage PAF, all original: cover, braided wire, solder, long magnets, poles, screws. Intact PAF (Patent Applied For) sticker w/ small piece not visible. Cover not removed.
"L" tooling marks are present and can be found on the underside of the pickup's baseplate legs (or feet). These indentations are caused by the metal-stamping process used in the late 1950s and early 1960s to form the nickel-silver baseplates.
Nothing sounds like a '50s vintage PAF sound. From Jazz and Blues to Les Paul and SG crunch and bite, to archtop warmth, a vintage PAF creates unlimited sonic choices, especially the humbucker warmth. Touch-sensitive, which creates overtones difficult to generate elsewhere, but it gives artists sounds that it didn't imagine, yet they're right there waiting. Perfect for Les Pauls, SG, hollow and semi-hollow bodies.
Came out of a Gibson '59 ES-175.
M69 bridge and neck M69 rings, springs and screws are available upon request.
