The Ibanez AS93SP BK proudly joins the Artcore Expressionist lineage. This hollow-body guitar takes refinement to the next level, blending magnetic sobriety with ornamental details typically reserved for the brand's most prestigious models.

The deep, high-gloss black finish serves as a stunning backdrop for the gold hardware, creating a timeless contrast. However, the true masterpiece lies on the fingerboard: the "Tree of Life" inlay. This intricate floral motif, running the full length of the neck, is far more than mere decoration. It is a powerful visual signature, historically reserved for Ibanez’s premium instruments, lending this AS93SP an aura of high-end craftsmanship and an artistic dimension that immediately sets it apart from standard productions.

The construction features a nyatoh body, providing a warm and balanced tonal foundation. The three-piece set-in neck (nyatoh/maple) ensures exemplary stability and optimal vibration transfer. A Macassar ebony fingerboard completes the build; its density offers remarkable attack precision and a silky feel under the fingers that will delight demanding players. This noble wood perfectly complements the instrument's luxurious aesthetic.

On the electronics side, the guitar is equipped with the legendary Super 80 pickups. These are go-to humbuckers for those seeking uncompromising versatility. In the neck position, the sound is velvety and rich in harmonics—ideal for fluid jazz lines or woody blues chords. In the bridge position, the guitar gains bite while maintaining superb definition. Whether through a crystal-clear clean channel or a creamy overdrive, the AS93SP retains its semi-hollow character: a lively resonance, generous sustain, and excellent dynamics that respect every nuance of your playing.

Comfort is paramount, featuring a balanced neck profile typical of the AS series, providing a reassuring grip without feeling bulky. Upper fret access is effortless, and the fret finishing on the ebony board makes playing feel fluid and almost instinctive. This instrument invites exploration, from delicate fingerpicking to energetic rock leads.

The Ibanez AS93SP BK is a total success for those seeking an instrument with character. By marrying the sobriety of black with the exuberance of the "Tree of Life" inlay, it offers a high-end visual that leaves no one indifferent. It is an expressive and versatile guitar that proves you can own an exceptional piece—both sonically and visually—without an inaccessible price tag.
