A guitar doesn't have to be expensive to sound good. The GIO series was designed for players looking for Ibanez quality at a more affordable price. Not only do they look and play better than any other guitar in their price range, but they're also tested and set up just as rigorously and come with the same warranty as Ibanez's more expensive models. The Ibanez GRG131DX is the perfect example of this principle!
Its maple neck provides stability and a bright tone, while its purpleheart fingerboard enhances its beauty and rich tone.
The F106 bridge delivers rich sustain with very easy and independent string-height adjustment. Featuring Ibanez Infinity pickups, the GRG131DX offers a precise and tight tone with excellent dynamics. Even with lower tunings, it doesn’t lose its tonal clarity.
The mono output jack is made of sturdy, durable material and is crafted from a single piece to prevent unwanted movement and loosening of the jack, which can lead to contact issues or interruptions. This innovation ensures long-lasting playing enjoyment and minimal maintenance.
