Overwhelming destructive power and silence. A supreme metal machine embodying the philosophy of Mick Thomson (Slipknot).

The latest signature model "MT-I" from Mick Thomson, guitarist of Slipknot, one of the world's leading metal icons, is now available from the LTD brand.

This instrument, clad in the jet-black sheen of "Obsidian Metallic," perfectly embodies everything he demands in demanding stage and recording environments: "tight lows," "sharp attack," and "infinite playability."

■ Carefully Selected Materials and "Deep Set-Thru" Construction

White Ash & Mahogany Body: Featuring a white ash top for sharp attack and a mahogany back for rich sustain and thick mid-low frequencies. Boasting a high-resolution sound that retains its definition even under heavy distortion.

Deep Set-Thru Construction: Features a "deep set-through" construction where the neck is set deep into the body. This combines the warm tone of a set neck with the high accessibility to the upper frets of a through-neck design, and a robust body resonance.

■ Ultimate Playability: Stainless Steel Frets & Compound Radius

Fast & Smooth: The Makassar ebony fingerboard features a compound radius that changes from 300R to 400R. This supports a secure grip in the lower positions, as well as extremely low string action and smooth bending in the higher positions.

EXJ-SS Frets: Durable extra-jumbo stainless steel frets are used. They are highly resistant to wear and tear, ensuring a consistently crisp attack and smooth fingering.

Luminlay SG-30: The side position markers are equipped with Luminlay, a phosphorescent material that ensures visibility even on a darkened stage.

■ FISHMAN Fluence Mick Thomson Signature PU

The pickups are Mick Thomson's signature Fishman Fluence pickups. Three voicings allow you to switch between modern metal sounds and organic tones.

Voice 1 (Modern Active): Ideal active ceramic tone. Sharp crunch and tight, clear bass.

Voice 2 (Modern Passive): Organic, high-output passive tone. Boasts excellent dynamics and response.

Voice 3 (Single Coil): Added at Mick's request, a bright, clear, ideal single-coil tone.

■ Uncompromising Hardware

Features a HIPSHOT fixed bridge (Ibby HM) and GripLock tuners. Extremely stable pitch when down-tuning, and reliable even with aggressive picking.
