This pedal was modified to be a stereo volume pedal. It is literally made of two Volume X Mini pedals. I swapped the expression pot out with a volume pot so that the expression output has an audio taper pot that exactly matches the regular volume. It‘s essentially a stereo volume pedal by using a trs to dual-mono splitter cable to access the expression output.
It also has the stylish wood topper on it that I thought was pretty cool.
Now, one detail that’s a bit unfortunate. The band drive assembly is made with two tapes, and one of them is broken on this pedal. You can see by zooming in on the pics. The pedal still works fine, but it is damaged in this way and I’d worry about the other tape wearing out. A replacement assembly is available to be purchased for $27 on reverb.
Given that that is a unique mod which required purchasing two pedals, it’s priced a little higher. Someone out there needs a small form factor stereo volume pedal, and this is it!
