Up for grabs is this completely re-fabricated 12" guitar speaker. This was made by Utah for fender and seems to be one of the variants of their M12 speaker. I have seen slightly different variants of these through the years, and this one seems to have the thicker/ heavier magnetic structure, as the pole plates are .400" thick!. heavy metal? YES!

That magnet is quite a fist full of, and this speaker is nimble, efficient, and powerful all the while yielding a "Power-Vintage" tonality.It's a moderately heavy loudspeaker, like a heavier Celestion...

She was stripped down to a bare frame, cleaned, and then slightly heated and repainted with that black " Hammer-Ite" finish, so she looks as good as she sounds..

Looks do NOT improve a speaker's performance... Then again, it sure doesn't hurt either!

All OEM/ AMERICAN made components were used in this overhaul. There are NO after market, replacement, or import/chyna crap parts in it, but ONLY AMERICAN made stuff...

This is basically a brand new speaker again, probably BETTER..

*Cone body- full paper body *CURVED SEAM* seamed cone/ 12 grams

*Neck dipped- YES!

*Dust Cap- 3" lip down aluminum

*SPL- 96dB

*Edge treatment- yes/ ReZon-Ex

That'll give you guys a good idea of what's inside and what it'll sound like..

The lows are tight and firm, no floppiness here. Mids are to die for.VERY fast, articulate, detailed and with a top end that's extended but without the usual "Ice-Pick" tonality around 2Khz, this is a very well behaved/ "steerable" speaker...

Operation is flawless, it's basically a new speaker again only BETTER.

I'm confident enough that you'll LOVE this one that I am including my 15 day " NO GAMBLE" return option from delivery date (((less customer damage))) if for ANY REASON you simply don't like what you just bought...

So, if you need one of the Utah/ fender " Bulldog" frame M12s, but with the thicker plates and larger magnets and coil, then here ya' go!
