Purchased this from the Gibson Demo Shop - a Custom Shop Demo - here on Reverb in 2023. Since then it has remained well taken care of in a smoke free home and remains exactly as I got it.

Gibson is (in my belief) unusually aggressive with their guitar grading. They had this labeled at "Good" so I am grading it as "Good" as well, even though I believe this guitar should be graded Very Good. It's not without it's minor bumps / bruises which are all detailed below

Gibson 1959 ES-355 Reissue Stop Bar VOS, Vintage Natural - Custom Shop Demo

Modifications: Back of headstock stamped "DEMO"

Noted Cosmetic Defect(s):

• Finish Top: Scratches around knobs. Spot of inclusions in finish at lead tone knob. inclusions and drag mark in finish at bass side of neck pickup.
• Finish Sides: Ding under finish on bass side lower bout.
• Finish Back: Small binding gap at bass side cutaway.
• Finish Neck: Significant ding on back at 4th fret. Slight ridge at binding along bass side of neck.
• Binding: Minor ridge along top and back binding around entire body.
• Tuners: High E string tuner is askew.
• Finish Peg Head: Minor scratches on face. Streaks in VOS finish on both side of peghead.
• Pickups / Transducers: Minor scratches. Tarnishing from VOS treatment.
• Case Condition: Spot of excess glue on top near bottom rim. Minor wear and tear.
