1959 Gibson ES-175D – Double whites PAF - Sunburst – All Original w/ Original Lifton Case
A beautiful and fully original 1959 ES-175D with two double whites PAF bobbins, one of the most desirable years for this classic Gibson archtop. This example retains all of its original components and comes with its original tan Lifton case with pink lining.
The guitar currently has Fake58 reproduction tuners installed, which work perfectly and look correct for the period. The original tuners are included in the sale. They are functional, but some tuner buttons are missing and one tuner shaft is slightly bent.
This guitar plays beautifully with a comfortable late-50s Gibson neck profile and delivers the warm, articulate tone the ES-175D is famous for. The instrument is lively, resonant, and extremely responsive.
No repairs or structural issues.
**No additional tariff on USA-made products when shipped to the US.**
