Up for sale, a 2010 Fender Official Disney "Mickey Mouse" Stratocaster ST-Mickey, 100% original condition and in perfect working order. 1 of 100 produced, this exceedingly rare model was crafted exclusively for the Japanese domestic market as part of an official collaboration with Disney. Easily one of the more visually distinctive instruments to emerge from Fender Japan, this Strat goes to great lengths to transform the iconic mouse into an electric guitar, featuring a red pickguard, yellow knobs, white headstock, and gloss Black finish with Mickey's profile proudly displayed on the lower bout.
Aside from the notable cosmetics, this Stratocaster is a well-crafted instrument, with a basswood body and a maple neck capped by a thick slab rosewood fingerboard. The trio of single coil pickups feature ceramic magnet construction, delivering classic Strat tonalities: the neck is round and bell-like, and the bridge pickup provides sparkling cut with thinned-out quack in the "in-between" positions on the five-way switch.
