Mesa Studio Preamp. This has a switch installed to reduce low end on the first stage in one position, which tightens things up. The other position is the stock setting. Specifically, the switch is essentially the pull shift mod in the non pulled setting on a Mark series. This preamp is normally set in the pulled setting as stock, which is a little tubby for tighter high gain stuff. There are also a couple value swaps done to a resistor and a couple bright caps that are in line with a c+ mod. I don't have specifics, but it can all be put back to stock with minimal effort. It has not appear to have been recapped. There are no repairs done under my ownership, as i haven't had any issues with it. That being said, this is sold as is only due to its age.
Preamp has some scratches on top and a little rack rash, but works and sounds great.
