In the 1930s, Montgomery Ward had guitars made for them with the
"Carson J.Robison" name, to take advantage of the popularity of that
cowboy singing star of the day. By 1936, these guitars were being made
for Ward's by Gibson, with the later ones like this having the identical
body contour and dimensions of Gibson fabulous L-0 and L-00 models. The
main difference was straight bracing under the top instead of
X-bracing; otherwise, these were essentially L-00 Gibsons.
All original (original bridge pins and saddle included). Comes in a nice ultra light guitar case. This guitar is in excellent shape for its age, please take a look at the pics and feel free to ask any questions.
