Custom-Built 1930's-40's style Ring/Spring Dynamic Microphone, works, Hear it!

     Offering a vintage 1930's style replicated Ring Spring Dynamic Microphone with authentic 1930's Western Electric stand. True to a bygone era of early microphones, this tailor-made piece of nostalgia features a large 8" ring with a custom-built microphone element suspended by 4 springs, and mounted to an authentic 1930's Western Electric stand.

      The element used is dynamic, so is compatible with all modern era gear, (no special power supply needed like the old carbon mics used to require.) The sonic quality is similar to the low-fi sound of those era microphones, without all the nasty crackling. (Check out the voice sample on the listing video.) The pickup pattern is cardioid, so has excellent rear rejection in case you wanted to perform with it on stage without feedback issues. 

   The entire ring portion can by removed, is threaded to standard 5/8"-27, in case you wanted to use it with a floor stand, and is hardwired to a 4' cable with male XLR plug. As stated earlier, the very heavy iron desk stand is an actual 1930's Western Electric base with an extendable riser tube, overall height ranges from 20" at the lowest, top about 27" at it's highest. ** Always fair prices, fair shipping, great service!
