(From the manufacturer's website)

This fuzz pedal, born in the 1960s and still beloved today, is said to be one of the earliest. The Triangle V1 First, considered one of the earliest, was built using a "point-to-point" connection on a Parfboard (a circuit board with a snake-eye pattern), resulting in a highly unstable and artistic sound.

The "GRUFF V1" recreates the sound of the Triangle V1 First, and the "GRUFF result" model was developed using the results of that research. RoShi Pedals thoroughly compared the "GRUFF V1" with their own Triangle V1 First and repeatedly developed it. It's rare to see a pedal designed with such extensive research and attention to detail as the historically valuable Triangle V1 First. At least, I've never heard a pedal that sounds anything like the one I own.

The ADD CBF model adds Clean Blend and Clean LPF (low-pass filter). Blending the original signal with GRUFF distortion creates a roaring, yet still solid, three-dimensional sound. This is a fuzz long awaited, especially for bassists.

< Control >
blend: Adjusts the balance between the GRUFF sound and the original signal.
c-lpf: This is the original signal's LPF (similar to the TONE function on a typical effect pedal). By adjusting this, you can blend in only the low-frequency components of the original signal.
c-vol: Adjusts the volume of the original signal.

(The following is about GRUFF result)

This Triangle Muff clone was created through extensive research into the Triangle V1 First and meticulous attention to detail, making it undoubtedly the pinnacle of our collection!

The first Big Muff π was designed by Bob Meyer, an engineer at Electro-Harmonix, led by Mike Matthews, and was released in 1971. It's nicknamed the "Triangle Muff" because of its knob placement. This model recreates the sound of the Triangle V1 First, the very first "Triangle Muff."

No pedal has ever been so well-researched and designed. Not only is it powerful, but it also boasts the distinctive vintage gruffness (you can't get this feel with just average parts), ample sustain, and a saturated harmonics that rise up and become a fuzz enthusiast's enchantment.

The mini switch sets Triangle Mode on the left, Lowcut Mode in the middle, and +MID Mode on the right. +MID Mode adds high mids while preserving the roughness, recreating a sound that stands out even in a band ensemble.

Sano recommends this pedal! Experience this sound for yourself!

*Includes a collectible card now! "Seikatsu-san," known for his illustrations of girls holding guitars, has created the image character for GRUFF result. Her name is "Glau Girl"!
