The PRS SE Special Semi-Hollow has been regarded for years as a reliable and versatile workhorse in the SE range. With its unique semi-hollow body construction and a wide variety of pickups, this electric guitar covers an exceptionally broad spectrum of possible sounds. Whilst the mahogany body with a sound chamber and a two-piece maple top with curly maple veneer produces a tried-and-tested tone with an airy acoustic timbre, the combination of two 58/15 LT "S" humbucker pickups and the Narrowfield DD "S" middle pickup enables the player to access a wide range of switchable tone options. Furthermore, the two mini-switches allow both humbuckers to be switched separately into coil-split mode, meaning that clearly defined single-coil tones are also part of the SE Special Semi-Hollow’s repertoire. Naturally, the instrument features exclusively in-house hardware solutions in the form of a PRS Patented Tremolo and PRS-designed tuners. Gig bag included!
