Featuring a rich Honey Sunburst finish that mirrors its lush, textured voice, the 414ce Studio Special Edition Honeyburst offers a compelling musical experience for players of all styles. This versatile Grand Auditorium boasts a solid top of torrefied spruce that generates bold projection and played-in warmth to complement the blooming overtone character of its Indian rosewood back and sides, adding up to a sophisticated tone with crisp trebles and rumbling lows. Inside, our V-Class bracing enhances the response with more volume and sustain, all translated faithfully in plugged-in scenarios by the included ES2 electronics. Chamfered body edges and a slim Taylor neck make for a supremely comfortable feel, while a faux-tortoiseshell pickguard, nickel tuning machines, and a full-body gloss finish accent the unique top color.

Classic Woods Meet Throwback Style

Featuring a Honey Sunburst finish that evokes throwback acoustic vibes, this Grand Auditorium delivers a richly textured voice in an easy-playing package.

Grand Auditorium

Taylor’s signature shape embodies the ultimate all-purpose acoustic.

Indian Rosewood

The tonewood superstar. Popular, traditional, and versatile, Bob Taylor puts Indian rosewood among the greatest tonewoods ever.

Sitka Spruce

The soundboard choice for most guitars, Sitka spruce produces a broad dynamic range and accommodates a versatile range of playing styles.

Expression System® 2

The Expression System® 2 captures more of a guitar’s dynamic properties using a breakthrough behind-the-saddle design.

Venetian Cutaway

The Venetian cutaway is known for its soft, round lines. The sloping peak of the cutaway will vary depending on the shape of the body.

V-Class Bracing

Our patented V-Class bracing is a revolutionary new pattern — a new sonic engine — that marks a major shift away from traditional steel-string bracing patterns.
