Few guitarists are as instantly recognizable as Angus Young, whose blistering riffs and explosive stage presence helped define the sound of AC/DC. Built to capture the look, feel, and tone of his legendary SGs, the Gibson Angus Young Signature model delivers classic late-'60s SG styling with a handful of artist-specific appointments.
This 2007 example is finished in the classic Heritage Cherry and features the lightweight mahogany body and fast Slim Taper neck profile that have made the SG a favorite of rock players for decades. The guitar is equipped with a pair of Angus Young Signature humbuckers, designed to deliver the punchy midrange, clarity, and bite associated with Angus’ iconic tone.
Cosmetically, the guitar features the distinctive Angus Young devil headstock graphic, a nod to the mischievous imagery associated with the guitarist’s stage persona. The instrument is also fitted with a Maestro Vibrola tailpiece, adding both vintage style and expressive vibrato capability.
The guitar comes complete with its original Gibson hardshell case, featuring the unique Angus Young devil graphic interior.
