For sale is a very unique creation from the minds of Fender Masterbuilder Austin Macnutt and The Music Zoo. Its a Custom Shop 1967 set-neck Stratocaster NOS Vintage White. The first thing you'll notice is that it is thoroughly dressed up like a Gibson Les Paul Custom... think Randy Rhodes meets Jimi Hendrix. Rather than a 7.25" or 9.5" fretboard radius, its got 12". The usual three-single pickup configuration is now two Seymour Duncan Jazz humbuckers. Typical alder/ash body is substituted with an ultra-light Fiji Mahogany. Instead of a 2-point tremolo bridge, its got a Nashville Tune-O-Matic bridge into a hardtail string-though construction. The dot inlays are swapped for big, gorgeous block mother of pearl inlays on an ebony fretboard. The typical volume-volume-tone knobs and 5-way pickup selector switch are substituted with volume and tone knobs for each pickup and a 3-way pickup selector in the typical Gibson location on the bass-side. Austin even put binding on the body and neck.

Overall, this is as close to the Gibson Les Paul Custom experience you can get in a Fender shape and scale length, but with better tuning stability and ridiculous resonance. The neck feels similar to modern Gibson Customs as well. Fender only made one other like this recently, there are no more planned and this build took years to bring to life. I purchased this guitar new and keep it in the case with great care. There is a small lacquer chip on the headstock limited to the clear coat. If you have any questions please feel free to reach out. I've been selling on Reverb for 5 years and have 100% positive feedback.
