The Gibson ES-335TD (Thin Double-pickup) produced between roughly 1977 and 1981 often featured a factory-installed mini-toggle "coil tap" switch on the treble cutaway.

This reduces the pickup's output by drawing the signal from a partial section of the wire windings (often the halfway point).

It keeps both coils active in a humbucker, maintaining some hum-canceling properties while delivering a thinner, lower-gain "vintage" character.

The tight sound doesn't get crushed even with deep distortion, resulting in a well-defined, well-defined sound.

There are some wear and tears, but no major damage as you can see in the pictures.
Lots of frets remaining with fret nibs, and the neck shows no noticeable warping or twisting.
The truss rod works in both directions.
The electrical components are also in good condition.
The original hard case is included. One case lock latch was broken.
