1976-1978 Ludwig Vistalite Clear "Big Beat/Pro" 7-piece Kit – Rare 18" Floor Tom – All Original Hardware – One Owner

Available now is a stunning, one-owner 1978 Ludwig Vistalite kit in classic Clear acrylic. This is a rare "time capsule" set purchased new in the mid-1970s and kept in a climate-controlled home environment for nearly 50 years.

A Note on the Sale:

The Shells (Guaranteed No Cracks)

Vistalites are famous for their "crack" and projection, but often suffer from seam issues. These shells are exceptional:

• No Cracks/No Spidering: I have inspected the lugs and seams; they are solid and intact.

• Rare Configuration: Includes the massive 18x16 double-headed floor tom and a 24" bass drum—the ultimate rock setup.

• Condition: Very minor surface scratches consistent with careful use. Chrome has some standard pitting/rust ("Ludwig acne") which can be polished out but is left original for the buyer.

The "Crown Jewel" Snare

Included is the period-correct Ludwig Supraphonic 14x5 snare drum. It features the Blue/Olive badge (Serial #1748131), the legendary seamless Ludalloy shell, and it sounds incredible.
