The Angry Charlie V3 is a high-gain distortion/overdrive pedal designed to recreate the sound of a cranked Marshall JCM800, one of the most iconic rock amplifiers. It works as a true “amp-in-a-box,” capable of turning a clean amp into a British stack with thick tone, tight lows, aggressive mids, and plenty of sustain. The V3 stands out thanks to its full three-band EQ (Bass, Middle, Treble) in addition to the Volume and Drive controls, allowing precise tone shaping similar to a real Marshall amplifier. Powered at 9 to 18 V and featuring true bypass, it can range from vintage rock crunch to very saturated distortion, and is especially appreciated for rock, hard rock, and modern British-style tones.
