The PRS SE Custom 22 Semi Hollow (2009) is a featherweight stage guitar at just 2.52 kg — resonant, lively and perfectly balanced. A Korean-built PRS that shows exactly why these years are so appreciated: light, beautifully made, and tonally absolutely convincing.

Early Korean SE models are known for their excellent workmanship — and you feel that immediately here. Played unplugged it’s surprisingly bright and noticeably louder than a solidbody. Plugged in, it delivers an open, clear core tone with very balanced mids. The original humbuckers work really well in this guitar and fit the semi-hollow concept perfectly.

The neck has a comfortable medium C profile — not too flat, not too chunky. It sits nicely in the hand and makes long sessions completely stress-free.

Visually and technically it’s in very good shape, close to mint — only light signs of use, no finish chips, no major dents.

We freshly leveled and polished the frets and gave it a complete setup. Result: smooth, effortless playability, clean intonation, and an instrument that inspires immediately.

Especially for musicians who spend long hours on stage, this weight is a real blessing.
