The Electro-Harmonix Knockout is an analog "Attack Equalizer" pedal wity true bypass switching that uses 7-pole low-pass filter (cutoff at 85Hz), a 6-pole high-pass filter (cutoff at 6.5KHz), and dedicated dry signal blend to reshape guitar/bass tone, capable of making humbuckers sound like single-coils.
The Knockout is designed to add, remove, or shape frequencies rather than just boosting or cutting them like a standard graphic EQ, allowing for significant tonal sculpting or adding "punch" to a signal.
