If you know, you know. The Bone hybrid maple/carbon fiber snare has become a secret weapon snare for the lucky few drummers who have discovered this rather ingenious hybrid drum maker from Slovenia. This BONE "Carbcutter" 14x6.5" modern “hybrid-forward” snare drum blends a maple core that keeps the note warm and full, with a carbon fiber layer that tightens the response and adds immediate punch and projection under you stick, especially at medium/high tunings. The drum responds with the power you'd expect from a heavy cast but is extremely lightweight, a godsend for working and studio drummers.
Hybrid 4-ply shell (maple + carbon fiber), black nickel double-sided tube lugs, 2.3mm power hoops, Trick strainer, Puresound wires, Remo heads and 1.25" BONE aluminum air vent & badge.
The custom Bone logo heavy padded case is included.
