The "Holy Grail" of Fender amps. This 1963 Brownface Vibroverb amp, one of around 500 ever made, is basically original, with a few minor changes in the early 70s, when several capacitors were changed, a grounded power cable was installed, and the original power transformer was replaced by a beefier Bassman transformer. The faceplate has a small hole drilled near the power light, for some mysterious reason. The original Oxford 10” speakers were long ago replaced by CTS speakers , eventually replaced in turn last year with Jensen C10Qs. This was my gigging amp in the 70's...it was put into storage in 1981 , but was carefully reawakened last year as part of a comprehensive checkup. It is in very good operating condition, with both reverb and vibrato (tremolo) working via the original footswitch.
P.S. This amp was listed six months ago, but account was suspended within hours for logistical reasons...actually listed properly on August 17th, 2026.
