Neumann CMV 563 with M7S, M8S, M55K Capsules and PSU
Our users rate Reverb
Selling a beautiful Neumann Gefell CMV 563, along with M7s, M8S, and M55k capsules, all functioning perfectly.
Bought without a serial number from Reverb around 4 years ago.
The M7 capsule is an absolute dream to record with. M8s was re-diaphragmed with the correct tensile and pre-stretched polyester film relatively recently by Gunter Wagner of Wagner microphones to original specs, complete with temperature treating and pre-aging.
PSU recently practically fully rebuilt by legendary mic tech in LA After bridge rectifier failed, and has been modernised with a XLR output and IEC input, meaning it’s ready to go!
Runs on 220-240v. LA locals can have the transformer I use to run it on US power.
Happy to provide audio examples of the mic.
I have a list of the extensive work done in the mic to bring it to the amazing working order it’s in, and am happy to share with prospective buyers. I’ve shouldered a generous cost getting this mic to the condition it’s in and am selling at a loss, so rest assured you’re buying a well-looked after, studio ready microphone!
