I believe this is a early 1960's Kay K-23 Jumbo Flat Top Acoustic Guitar
I am still doing research these are very hard to ID
I am leaning towards 1965 K-23 but I am not positive yet. I am not a Kay expert.
Kay nerds please chime in
Natural top
bursted back and sides
rosewood fingerboard most likely Brazilian
has lots of wear and patina but this guitar sounds GREAT
big fat sounds
frets and neck are in good condition
neck is straight and neck angle is not to bad. does not need a neck re-set, action is fairly low and the saddle height still has some height
finish is gone / flaked off on a few spots and some goober did a poor job of touching up the worn areas with some type of black paint , maybe a sharpie? with a little effort some touch-up could be done to make this more presentable
with case as shown
