This is a 2007 first-year production BOSS FDR-1, officially licensed by Fender and part of the acclaimed Legend Series.

Developed using BOSS’s COSM (Composite Object Sound Modeling) technology, the FDR-1 was designed to capture the tonal character of the 1965 Blackface Deluxe Reverb, one of Fender’s most iconic amplifiers.

More than a simple overdrive pedal, the FDR-1 functions as a preamp-style unit, adding Fender-style clarity, dynamic response, and tube-like compression to a clean amplifier platform.
