Extremely rare serial dated 1990 Top end model Greco PXB-1200 Phoenix Bass. Made in Japan at the famous Fujigen factory. Set 3 piece maple neck, 34” scale, 1/2” Quilted Maple carved top. Active P. Duce pickups and preamp with Volume, Blend, Tone and mid “slap” switch (mid scoop). 26 frets, brass nut, gold hardware, bolt thru brass bridge for enhanced string vibration transfer. Dark, extremely tight grain slab rosewood fretboard, you almost think it’s ebony. Bass weighs 8lbs 1.2oz on my scale and is extremely comfortable to play and sounds great stock. You rarely see one of these in the states as I’m 99% sure it was a Japan only model, it was only listed in the 1992 catalog. Restrung with Stainless steel DR Hi Beams 45-105 (2/28/26). Ships in Ibanez prestige bass hardcase.
