Hand-wired clone of the Black Arts Toneworks Pharaoh Fuzz, but with a few mods to improve it:
- I replaced the Hi/Lo gain switch with a pot, so now instead of two fixed gain settings on the stock pedal, you can sweep anywhere between the two. There is also a bit more max gain available at the highest setting.
- I replaced the germanium diodes with BAT diodes, which sound smoother, cleaner and better than the germaniums in my opinion.
- I changed the taper of the Gain pot so the sweep is improved and it's now easier to dial in low gain settings. (This has no effect on tone or gain range.)
Controls: Volume, Fuzz, Gain, Tone, High, 3-way clipping toggle (silicon, no diodes, BAT)
Features
- Top-mounted jacks to save pedalboard space
- Premium powder coat finish
- True bypass switching with status LED
- High quality switches, jacks and components
- Runs on standard 9V DC power supply (no batteries)
