Oberheim FVS-1 Four Voice Analog Polyphonic Synthesizer

Few synthesizers can compare to the Oberheim FVS-1 Four Voice. This synthesizer uses Oberheim's classic SEM modules. Each SEM containes  2 VCO's (each with sawtooth or variable-pulse waveforms), a 2-pole multimode VCF, dedicated envelopes for the VCA and VCF, and a triangle wave LFO. This combination gives you eight oscillators and four voices of polyphony. Basically it is equivelant to four discrete mono-synths all connected together and its sound is gargantuan.  Each SEM voice module can be programmed individually. This makes for incredibly unique polyphonic playing. Chords can be dynamic and lush and playing solos can sound like a quartet of synths playing in rounds. The Four-Voice also has a earthshaking unison mode, making it an eight oscillator monosynth! The oscillators are remarkably stable, once the desired tuning is set you need not worry about drift. This FVS-1 has the standard configuration of 4 x SEMs, 1 Mixer, and the Programmer module.

The previous owner had it retolexed with the same factory Tolex and supposed serviced.

However i wanted it at its best ,so i checked it and wanted it to be serviced at best:

- all modules opened,checked, cleaned/polished all molex,switches,pots(were needed).

-The keybed has been rebuilt, new bushings,lubed ,keys aligned,key contacts polished,

-all solders checked.

-Found also faults in output module which the previous owner maybe didn’t even know!

-Fixed also minor electronic bugs and mechanical defects.

-Fully calibrated

-There are four switches on the top frame, and one above the key assigner that have been left in place.

It took a lot of time and investment to painstakingly bring it at the highest level

 It includes it's lid and original mains cable 220v
