Jackson USA Custom Shop JCF01 Randy Rhoads Namm Commemorative Rhoads in Ivory Finish made in 2002 with Original hardshell Case. This guitar features a solid alder body, 3-piece maple neck through, bound ebony fingerboard, bound headstock with gold SPL logo. Equipped with a Seymour Duncan SH-2N Jazz in the neck position and a Seymour Duncan SH-6B Duncan Distortion in the bridge position. Controlled by 1-volume, 1-tone knob and a 3-way toggle switch. The 25.5" scale length neck has reversed pearl sharkfin inlays, 22 SBB24 jumbo frets on a compound 12"-16" Radius with a "fat neck" profile. The hardware is comprised of gold Jackson tuning machines, a black Phenolic nut, a Jackson PCS brass tune-o-matic bridge with string-thru body tail piece and knurled gold dome knobs with gold plated aluminum pickguard.

JCF is the Jackson Charvel Forum, a group of Jackson and Charvel guitar enthusiasts who share information and knowledge of these fine instruments. They got together and had Jackson build 25 replicas of "the guitar that got away" at the 1982 NAMM show, shortly before Randy Rhoads tragically died while on tour with Ozzy Osbourne. The original guitar was made for Randy and a young man talked Joanne Jackson into selling it to him inadvertently. Remember, at that time Jackson guitars was still a brand new offshoot of Charvel manufacturing, so these guitars weren't readily available and this individual pestered her until she let him buy it. Grover Jackson said that at that time, he didn't have logo's made for Jackson guitars yet, so he used metallic gold Testor's model paint to write the name Jackson on the headstocks of quite a few guitars before getting water-slide Jackson logo's. The guitars in this series were numbered 00 through 24, making this guitar number 9 built.

This guitar is in excellent condition with minimal to no signs of play. The gold hardware has a few light marks and normal light oxidation in the gold/ brass hardware, there is a very light surface mark on its back you can only see under direct light and some very light surface marks/ solvent pop in the headstocks finish and the rear of body has a few finish defects from factory. The neck has a light ding in the center and the body's lower edge has a light dimple you can see under direct light. (see pics)

Guitar is freshly setup and restrung with 9-42 strings. Includes original hard shell case, COA, factory hang tag and the Jackson custom shop order forms for this series.
