My personal ESQ-1 purchased new back in the 1980's. Used mostly at home and in studio, with use in a few live gigs. I've had this machine stored and unused at home for the past 20+ years. It has a new battery installed July 2025, and Brand New ROM Upgrade Chips OS 3.5 EPROM Firmware Upgrade. For a 40 year old Hybrid Synth this is in really great shape.
It comes with a PROM Storage Cartridge with sounds, Foot switch, Power cable, SQX-10 Sequencer Expander Cartridge installed.
Pictures show some of the minor scuffs and I've indicated a very small dent on the front of the metal frame under the keys.
Local Pickup or I will personally deliver to most areas in Southern California. This machine is 30 lbs and does not have a Flight case or it's original box, so packaging and shipping makes me uneasy. I'd much rather spend some time and a tank of gas to know that it makes it to you intact.
I've powered it up and left it run for hours (and running a simple sequencer pattern) after having the battery replaced and EPROM upgraded. It did have a key that was slightly sticky at times but once cleaned up and adjusted that key mechanism it is working good.
