The Ibanez Bass Workshop BTB605MS-SOM Solar Eclipse Matte is a mulriscale electric bass with great playing characteristics for demanding bassists! The robust body made of okoumé with a chicSolar Eclipse Matte satin finish gives the instrument a beautiful look, while the five-striped maple/walnut neck has a smooth feel thanks to the satin polyurethane neck finish. The Panga Panga fingerboard offers a 15.75" radius and is therefore ideal for precise bass lines. The highlight of the BTB605MS-SOM Solar Eclipse Matte is the 35" - 37" multiscale scale, which offers ideal conditions for deep 5-string tunings without the lowest frequencies sounding muddy. At the same time, the high strings remain crisp and convey a crystal-clear sound with a defined response! With two T1 pickups, the instrument delivers a hefty sound for uncompromising power, while the active 3-band EQ with controls for bass, midrange and treble provides additional control over the frequency response. A 3-way mid-frequency switch also provides a wide range of sound characters in the mid-range, making the E-Bass a true all-rounder. The Ibanez Bass Workshop BTB605MS-SOM Solar Eclipse matte is therefore ideal for rough genres from rock to metal and everything that goes further!
