Gibson Custom Shop is the pinnacle of craftsmanship, quality, and sound excellence. Each instrument celebrates Gibson's legacy through accuracy, authenticity and attention to detail.

The modern player's choice! The iconic Les Paul Custom is re-imagined in this Axcess version, featuring the new Apex headstock for added strength, redesigned contours for added comfort and fingerboard access, and powerful coil-tapped humbuckers for sonic versatility and strength. The Floyd Rose Tremolo and locking nut provide tuning stability during the craziest dive-bombs, while the solid Ebony fingerboard retains clarity in every fretted note and chord. But with all the added features, the Les Paul Custom Axcess is still a Custom Shop "Black Beauty" at the core, with showstopping looks thanks to its multi-ply binding, pearl appointments and gold hardware.

What is the Gibson Made to Measure program?

The artisans of the Gibson Custom Shop locations in Nashville, Tennessee, and Bozeman, Montana, handcraft the world’s most desirable electric and acoustic guitars. But they also understand that no matter how great an off-the-peg designer suit might look and feel, the most discerning customers appreciate the sharper fit and personalized comfort of something that has been tailored to their specific needs and preferences, right down to the last detail.

This is where Gibson Custom’s Made to Measure program comes in. Through the Gibson Custom Made to Measure program, Gibson Custom luthiers can handcraft a one-of-a-kind guitar that’s as individual as you are. Perhaps you’ve always loved the idea of a weight-relieved ’57 Goldtop with a SlimTaper™ neck profile. Or maybe you want to color-match the metallic blue paint job from your very first car. Whatever you dream up, using an iconic Gibson model as a starting point, our Gibson Garage Pros and approved Gibson Custom dealers, working directly with the artisans from the Gibson Custom Shop locations, will guide you through the Made to Measure process and help you make it a reality.

Gibson Custom Made to Measure program delivers one-of-a-kind guitars that are unique and like no other.
