The 1010music Bitbox mk2 is a powerful Eurorack sampler and looper module that adds multi‑track recording, clip launching, slicing, granular processing, and intelligent looping to your modular system. With a 3.5" touchscreen, 16 sample pads per preset, and double the processing power of the original Bitbox, it is designed for hands‑on performance sampling and deep sound mangling in a compact 26 HP format.

Key elements of its design:

• Flexible sample engine and polyphony
  Bitbox mk2 can play up to 24 polyphonic voices simultaneously when samples fit into the 64 MB internal memory, or stream up to 8 large stereo samples (up to 4 GB each) directly from the microSD card for hours of audio. Each preset offers 16 sample pads that can be configured as one‑shots, multi‑samples, clips, slicers, granular engines, or live recordings, giving you a versatile toolkit for drums, melodic chops, textures, and live looping.

Touchscreen workflow and deep parameters
The 3.5" touchscreen lets you select, edit, and tweak samples quickly, with parameter pages for start point, length, pitch, gain, filter, loop modes, launch quantization, ADSR envelopes, exclusive groups, clip sync, slice placement, and more. Granular mode exposes controls for grain size, spread, count, distribution, and playback speed, enabling everything from subtle smear to full granular soundscapes.

CV, gate, and MIDI integration
Bitbox mk2 provides up to 8 configurable CV inputs and 16 dedicated gate inputs to trigger sample pads or modulate parameters such as pitch, filter, or envelope settings, plus a dedicated clock input for tempo sync. You can also trigger samples and slices via MIDI with polyphonic playback, use MIDI learn to map external controllers, and freely route pads to the two stereo (four mono) outputs for flexible mixing in your rack.

• Recording, looping, and effects
  The module supports stereo sampling at 24‑bit/48 kHz (and can handle other sample rates and bit depths), with definable, bar‑based recording lengths for perfectly sized loops. Internal effects include delay and reverb to enhance your samples, plus internal resampling of the master output without additional patching, so you can bounce complex textures back into new pads.

• Storage, firmware options, and specs
  Audio is stored on a microSD card, supporting import/export of WAV files and saving/recalling multiple presets; large cards and up to 4 GB per file allow extremely long sample streams. The 26 HP module uses 24‑bit ADC/DAC converters, runs at +12 V 400 mA (no -12 V or 5 V draw), and can even run alternative firmwares such as Synthbox or Fxbox, turning the same hardware into a wavetable synth or multi‑effects processor if desired.
