2009 Fender Custom Shop '57 Stratocaster Heavy Relic Killer Guitar! (117)
Offered for sale is this 2009 Fender Custom Shop ’57 Heavy Relic Stratocaster — a truly standout example of the Custom Shop’s craftsmanship. The relic work on this guitar is exceptionally well executed, delivering an authentic, broken-in vintage aesthetic that is easily among the most convincing finishes I’ve encountered. It has all the visual character of a well-loved original while retaining the reliability and performance of a modern Custom Shop build.
Overall condition is very good. In addition to the factory-applied relic treatment, the guitar shows only light to moderate signs of actual play use. It has clearly been well cared for and remains structurally and cosmetically excellent.
Tonally, this Stratocaster delivers everything you’d hope for from a ’57-inspired instrument. The factory Custom Shop pickups sound fantastic — warm, articulate, and unmistakably vintage. Expect classic Strat chime, clarity, and responsiveness with rich harmonic detail across all pickup positions.
Playability is excellent. The neck feels comfortably broken-in, the action is set low and fast, and there is little to no fret wear. This guitar plays effortlessly and is equally at home in the studio or on stage.
If you’re looking for a Custom Shop Stratocaster with exceptional relic work, inspiring tone, and superb feel, this one will not disappoint. A great-playing, great-sounding instrument that captures the spirit of a true vintage Strat.
Comes with the original hard case, COA, & case candy shown. (117)

Condition, Shipping, & Setup Details:
I specialize in selling pre-owned guitars, which typically show signs of regular use. My commitment to quality is unwavering, and I ensure that any guitar I offer for sale is free from problems, unless explicitly mentioned. With a history of selling guitars dating back to the 1980s, I pride myself on selecting only the finest instruments.
It's important to understand that our shipping fees encompass more than just the cost of the box. I guarantee professional packaging using UPS-approved materials to safeguard your purchase. This typically includes new, heavy-duty boxes rated at 275lbs, 3-inch wide brown fiberglass reinforced tape, ensuring the guitar is well-protected. Additionally, every guitar shipped is fully insured for its sale price.
The guitars are set up according to my personal preferences (Medium Height), and I strictly avoid guitars with neck issues. However, guitar setup is highly subjective, and it is advisable to have it adjusted by a trusted local technician who understands your specific playstyle and preferences.
