Telex ACC-4000XL Slave Stereo Commercial Cassette Tape Duplicator

If you’re looking at this listing, you already know what the Telex ACC‑4000XL is: a true workhorse commercial cassette duplicator system. This is the ACC‑4000XL SLAVE unit—built for speed, consistency, and serious throughput when paired with a compatible Telex Master unit.

Why this unit matters

When connected to a working Master unit, the ACC‑4000XL Slave can duplicate up to four C60 cassettes (both sides) in approximately 2 minutes—the kind of performance that turns tape runs from “all day” into “done before dinner.” It’s also highly desirable because it supports both Type I and Type II tapes via the selector on the bottom of the unit, so you can match the format to your release without compromises.

Condition / history

This particular Slave unit was professionally serviced by a Telex‑certified technician (10/2014) and has seen very light use since. I primarily used these machines for my own releases and occasional small projects for friends—so the runtime is low compared to what most of these units have endured in production environments.

I previously owned three Slave units. Due to space constraints in my home studio (and reduced need), I sold two and kept only what I truly use. This is my last Slave unit, and it’s the one I kept because it’s in excellent physical condition. It has been stored with the original cover and the heads were cleaned after every project.

Important note (please read)

This is a Slave unit only. It will NOT duplicate tapes by itself. You must have a compatible, fully functional Telex Master unit to operate it. Please confirm compatibility before purchasing.
