POD® Express Bass is an ultra-portable bass amp and effects processor that lets bassists take their sounds wherever they go. Simple controls make it easy to use, while models derived from the HX® processor family guarantee exceptional sound quality and an authentic feel. POD Express Bass offers bassists seven amps, seven cabinets, and 17 distortion, compression, synth, modulation, and delay effects, including a looper, and can be powered by three AA batteries (included) or an optional 9-volt power supply.

Selecting and using amps and effects is incredibly easy, and to change parameters, simply adjust the corresponding knobs.

Exceptional Sound Quality

POD Express devices feature models derived from the HX® family of processors to ensure exceptional sound quality. They include seven amps, seven speakers, and 17 effects, including a looper.

Power

POD Express devices can be powered by three AA batteries (included) or a 9-volt DC power supply (sold separately).

Stereo Output

Hear the stereo effects as intended by connecting the main L/R outputs to the inputs of any stereo amp or powered speaker, two mono amps or powered speakers, or recording devices with stereo inputs.

Foot Controls

Use the built-in footswitches to activate amps/effects, change presets, sync time-based effects to a specific tempo, and activate the built-in tuner.

Headphones

Connect headphones to the 3.5 mm stereo headphone jack for practice or private recording.

USB and Recording

Connect your POD Express to your computer or mobile device to use it as a portable audio interface.

EXTERNAL CONTROL

Connect an optional expression pedal to control volume, two assignable external control pedals, or one and a single control pedal.
