This Moog MKPE three-band parametric equalizer is in solid working electronic condition.  Like many of these units, the exterior shows scuffs and marks from years of real studio use .. a visible record of the life it’s lived and the work it’s done.  These are uniquely cool sound-shaping tools and can be driven into aggressive character when pushed.  Moog is, of course, well known for filters, and having that ethos expressed in three-band parametric EQ form makes for a genuinely fun and creative piece.

The unit was professionally serviced a few years ago.  During that service, the op-amps were replaced with socketed equivalents, allowing for easy, non-destructive servicing in the future.  Sonically and functionally, the unit performs as it should.

The In/Out and Overload indicator LEDs do not illuminate, though switching and audio operation are unaffected.  Cosmetic wear is consistent with long-term studio use and should be considered patina only, with no functional impact.
