...and once again we were successful and managed to secure another "Kirk Hammett Greeny" from the Gibson Custom Shop. This guitar is produced in extremely limited numbers and is a detailed replica of the 1959 Les Paul "Greeny" in its current form. This iconic Les Paul has been in the hands of Metallica guitarist Kirk Hammett since 2014. It is undoubtedly the most legendary and world-renowned Les Paul, having made music history under the ownership of Peter Green and Gary Moore. "Albatross" and "Parisienne Walkways" are the tunes associated with this legend, which now continues to grace the biggest stages with Kirk Hammett at its helm. The top of this particular model captivates with its incredibly authentic "Lemon Burst" finish and of course the guys at Murphy Lab have once again done a superb job, perfectly replicating the look of the original. From characteristic paint scratches and significant wear marks to the engraved "KH" initials on the back – every last detail has been meticulously considered. Furthermore, this iconic Les Paul with its dream weight of just 3780 grams and comfortable medium "Custom Greeny" neck profile offers exceptional playability. Its iconic sound speaks for itself. This guitar truly shines through an amp, including the characteristic "Out of Phase" tone. The Les Paul is incredibly direct and open. You can work with the tone with ease and the neck pickup sings phenomenally – Gary would have been thrilled. "Still Got the Blues" at its finest! The guitar is in top condition. An extremely rare icon of music history, representing a perfect combination of dream sound, distinctive, top-notch looks, superb playability and excellent value retention.
