We received this guitar with all repairs already being done. At one point in the history, the back split and someone repaired it and touched it up. You do have to get close to be able to see it. The guitar is fully functional and has great tone. Supposedly these are completely solid wood, it definitely looks like it. It sounds really nice. It comes in a breed love hard shell case which is very nice, but the handle was broken. So you can easily install a new handle.
