Here's a unique guitar guaranteed to stand out in any collection! Famed jazz player and session ace Howard Roberts spent time as part of the wrecking crew in LA, and even played as part of the legendary "Wall of Sound" orchestrated by Phil Spector, so it is safe to say you've heard his playing somewhere! While endorsed by Epiphone guitars in the 60's, he helped design his namesake instrument. Later models were made by Gibson through the years, but these early USA made Epiphones are hard to find. This 1967 model features a wide nut, floating sound hole pickup, and the distinctive florentine cutaway design. The center seam has a small repaired crack but this remains an otherwise original example in exceptional condition. A rare guitar with a sound unlike anything else!
