Launchkey 49 White brings a sleek, modern look to a powerful DAW controller. It features 49 semi-weighted white and grey waterfall-style keys, eight encoders, nine faders, and 16 velocity-sensitive pads for drums, instruments, and clip launching. Plus, Chord and Scale modes work with the OLED display to keep you in key.

The Creative Controller

Made for creative music makers, the new Launchkey puts deep DAW control, Ableton Live sequencing, and a generative arpeggiator at your fingertips — with chord and scale tools, a pro-grade software bundle, and a re-engineered design that feels like an instrument.

Play music. Get creative.

Control your software and unlock new musical ideas with the new Launchkey. Play instinctively with Scale, Fixed Chord, and Chord Map, shape evolving rhythms with the arpeggiator, and take hands-on control of your DAW to turn inspiration into tracks.

16 Launchpad-style pads

For finger-drummers, Launchkey 49 White features our patented, velocity-sensitive FSR pads with polyphonic aftertouch. Each pad uses a unique radial sensor for greater sensitivity and consistency, delivering tighter, more expressive performances. They can also be set to trigger chords or individual notes with polyphonic aftertouch.

49 semi-weighted keys

49 semi-weighted, piano-style keys with a sleek grey and white finish offer the power of a software-based workflow combined with the feel of a premium hardware instrument. Split the keyboard into two zones or Layer two MIDI channels across all keys.

Faders and encoders

Eight encoders and nine faders provide flexible, hands-on control over DAW mixers, virtual instruments, and effects. Store up to four Custom Modes for faders and encoders, and recall them instantly to shape sounds, balance tracks, or send notes, MIDI CCs, or program changes.

Seamless DAW integration

Stay focused with hands-on DAW control. Instantly switch between plugin, mixer, sends, and transport modes to keep sessions moving. In Ableton Live, access built-in Sequencer, Drum Rack, and Clip modes, so you can build and launch ideas without reaching for the mouse.

Workflow and navigation

Workflow buttons provide instant access to key DAW functions, speeding up production. Capture MIDI records any performance, even if you missed the record button. Toggle the metronome, quantise clips, or undo/redo with ease. The transport buttons mirror your DAW’s controls for play, stop, record, and loop, keeping your workflow seamless.

All you need to create

Launchkey includes a unique software bundle to get you creating straight away. Ableton Live Lite and Cubase LE help you capture ideas, Novation Play gives Launchkey a voice with its meticulously sampled synths, and you also get additional instruments and effects from Klevgrand, GForce, Native Instruments, and Orchestral Tools — plus lessons from Melodics.
