SERPENT AUDIO SEND N' BLEND - 500 SERIES MIX / BLEND MODULE

Like new, great gear but switching out to make room for new options in my rack.

The Serpent Audio Send N' Blend (SNB-500) is a 500-series utility module that adds a wet/dry mix control to any outboard gear, allowing for parallel processing (e.g., NY compression) without complex routing. It features a 3-way switch (Dry, Wet, Blend), high-quality audio path, and supports stereo linking for buses. Here is what you can do with it:

• Parallel Compression (NY Style): Send a dry signal to a compressor and mix it back with the original signal using the SNB-500 to add punch to drums, bass, or vocals while keeping transients.
• Parallel Distortion/Saturation: Drive a preamp or distortion unit hard, then blend the distorted signal with the clean signal for warmth without losing dynamics.
• Parallel EQ: Apply heavy, surgical EQ (e.g., boosting 10kHz for air) and blend it in to keep the original tone natural.
• Dual Microphone Blending: Mix two microphones on one source (e.g., a tight snare mic and a loose room mic) using the module's mix control.
• Stereo Summing: Use the module to combine signals from different outboard processors.
• Wet/Dry Control for Vintage Gear: Add a blend function to hardware that lacks one, such as classic outboard compressors or EQs. 

The unit features a 3-way hard-bypass switch (Wet/Dry/Blend) and uses high-end components like Elna capacitors for sonic integrity.
