For this custom Gold Label model, Taylor selected dramatically figured AA-grade Hawaiian koa back and sides and paired them with a sinker redwood top in a unique version of their Super Auditorium body featuring a Florentine cutaway. The result is a warm, open sound with an articulate midrange, rumbling low-end presence and pleasing soft-touch sensitivity, all of which will grow warmer and sweeter as the koa matures. Fanned V-Class bracing enhances warmth, resonance and power while preserving clarity, balance and articulation, and the patented long-tenon Action Control Neck boosts low-end resonance while enabling quick and easy string height adjustments. Sleek, stylish wood details headline the appointment package, including an Indian rosewood pickguard and matching binding plus Euro Deco inlays and a Split Diamond rosette crafted from cocobolo and boxwood.
