Offering a vintage 1939 RCA MI-6226L Bullet Dynamic "Pressure" Microphone, working strong w/original dynamic element intact. This model used a very unique element, classified as a dynamic element, but similar to a ribbon, with a thin wire strand suspended within a film membrane and operating within a magnetic field. (See final photo)
RCA promoted these "bullet style" mics for studio talkback use, but would be good for any general voice work. They were built like tanks, with a heavy nickel casing and quite weighty in the hand. It's aerodynamic shape also makes for an excellent handheld harp mic...has a standard 5/8" threaded adapter that is compatible with any modern stand. The front rib grills are undamaged, the casing is in nice shape, some mild signs of use/wear and still produces a good signal. (Check the voice sample demonstrated in the listing video.) The mic head is hardwired to a short 1' cable with male XLR plug, and includes the desk stand shown. Overall height is 9". ** Always safe secure packaging and fast fair shipping.
