About this listing
A seriously cool Japanese-built overdrive with plenty of character, touch sensitivity, and amp-like response. The Providence Stampede OD SOV-2 delivers everything from low-gain grit to thicker, more aggressive drive, with a dynamic feel that responds naturally to your picking and guitar volume. It’s also one of the few overdrive pedals commonly associated with Howard Dumble’s preferences. Dumble was known for being extremely selective about pedals, and the Stampede OD SOV-2 has long been regarded by players as a particularly good match for Dumble-style amps and circuits—especially when used as a responsive, low-to-medium-gain boost.Built in Japan with the quality and attention to detail Providence is known for, it’s an awesome choice for players looking for a versatile overdrive with a distinct voice, plenty of punch, and a strong connection to the Dumble world.Red finish and in great condition. Awesome made-in-Japan overdrive!
