For sale is my set of Bare Knuckle “The Mule” pickups. These are PAF style pickups handwound in the UK. I would consider these pickups to be low/medium output. Here are some of the specs:
- Covers: Nickel
- Bobbin Color: Unknown, I never took the covers
off
- Wiring: 4-Conductor
- Magnets: Alnico IV
- Output: low/medium
- Neck DCR: ~7.3k
- Bridge DCR: ~8.4k
- Lead length: Full, never trimmed
- Potting: Potted
These pickups are in excellent condition and come in the original box with some of the box candy that originally came with the pickups. The pickups are handwound, making them crystal clear. I couldn’t even tell they were wax potted when I installed them. The Mules provide a great PAF sound. On the lead wire of one of the pickups, there is a spot where my soldering iron grazed the black outer insulation, but it does not at all affect the functionality of these pickups, they are fully functioning with no issues.
