I am selling a modified and very well-maintained Ensoniq ASR-X Pro, one of the most unique and expressive sampling grooveboxes of the late 90s.

Known for the fantastic sound of its converters and effects. Excellent for producing hip-hop, house and other electronic genres.

The device has been professionally upgraded to ensure modern usability and long-term reliability, including new hardware and memory upgrades.

Upgrades and features:

• SCSI2SD drive installed in place of the floppy drive – no more noisy drives or hard drive errors
• 32 GB Lexar SD card – with the latest operating system
• X-8 (8 output expander) installed for perfect integration into a studio environment with multitracking. The expander is NEW and costs €200 on its own.
• Original power supply included

Condition:

See for yourself in the pictures that it is in very good visual condition. Few minor usage marks, visible on the photos.

Everything works technically.

Please note: The right encoder has started to jump sometimes (unfortunately a known issue with all ASR-X devices) and will probably need to be replaced in the medium term. Cleaning the contacts may be sufficient.
