*NOTE- I posted these as " B-STOCK" for a couple reasons.. 1.) There is no option for " Completely rebuilt/ "Like- New". 2.). So I can offer more than 1 unit,

They were done at PMR in Ohio with all new OEM/ AMERICAN components,, namely those "Hempopotamus" G3 hemp fiber cones which provide that fat, thick, meaty 3D tonality that 4 and 6 string players love.

There are NO after market, replacement, import, or chyna crap parts in these, but rather 100% AMERICAN MADE!

Fellas', even if you don't buy from me- BUY AMERICAN!

These two OEM Fender Pyle Driver 15's were stripped do metal, and rebuilt from the voice coils out to the front mounting gaskets, so they are basically new units again....I did finally place the OEM Fender stickers back on the frames, as shown in a few of the pictures,... They are on there now..

I'll itemize a description of each component that it took to get these back into this condition..

*Frames- stamped steel\ magnetic composition- ceramic

*Litz wires- COPPER .050"

*Hook Upo- standard spade connectors

*Spider assemblies- treated textile/ high compliance and excursion/ cupped profile

*Voice coil formers- radially vented aluminum\

*Windings- SOLID 99.97% coper

*Impedance- 4 ohms each

*Power- 200 watts RMS each

*SPL- 96dB!

*Response- 33Hz- 6.25 kHz ( that's right!)

*Dust Caps- open weave/acoustically transparent textile screen types

*Dual element "Red-Eye" frequency extension system( more on that in a minute)

*Cone- G3 pulp composition/ hemp fiber

*Neck Dipped- yes

*Surrounds- hemp pulp/ fixed edge full paper

*Surround Treatments- ReZon-Ex and Kodak loosened fibers

*Cone profile- straight/conical 5 rib profile

That'll give you guys a good idea of what's in these units... You guys know what this stuff is, and what it'll sound like..

A couple points to bring up on design....

Although they are blue in color this time, each unit features the "Dual Element Red-Eye" frequency extension system.... Yep- if you look through that outer open weave cap, you'll see what looks like a red ( BLUE) blood shot eyeball peering back at you ( they are blue in these 2 units)... The "Red Eye " system extends the upper end response a FULL OCTAVE beyond what just the cone itself can provide...

A single octave might not initially sound like much, but when you consider that an octave is a factor of .5/ 2, then when a speaker usually plays out to only 3Khz, when you get an extra octave out of it because of the frequency extension system, now this same speaker plays out to SIX KHz!

That's HIGH for a 15:".... or even a 12 for that matter....

The surrounds have been specially treated with certain Eastman Kodak chemicals to loosen ups the surround fibers, which increases compliance, lowers free air resonance(Fs), increases bass response, and allows these units to play down into the 30s.

Plus- they have been treated with ReZon-Ex. This is am proprietary dampener that absorbs cone edge resonances and removes those secondary "Ghost Notes"...These speakers play CLLLLLEEEEAN!

Both have been fully ran under diagnostics and operate just peachy.

I'm confident enough that you'll LOVE what you just bought, that I'll do something that NOBODY else in their right mind would do........ I am offering my 15 day " NO GAMBLE" return option from delivery date (((less customer damage))) if for ANY REASON you simply don't like what you just bought!
